Yacht Charters in Spain
Mainland Spain has a very long Mediterranean coastline, but it does not rank high on the list of desirable sailing destinations. Much of it is featureless and a case of hopping from one dull marina to another. The notable exceptions are the northern Costa Brava and all of the Balearic Islands.

There are charter fleets around Murcia, Valencia, and Barcelona. All of the Balearics, above all Mallorca have substantial offerings. The market is very German focussed, with some Brits going there too. Sailing is not a popular sport in Spain and the nearby French either stay in France or venture to Greece or Turkey.

The comments we read are uniform in their praise for the attractions of Menorca, and, although very different, Formentera.
