Valencia Yacht Charters
Like Barcelona, the Valencia coast coast is no sailing paradise and the charter offer is limited. The infrastructure is however excellent thanks to the legacy of the 2007 Americas Cup - the one in which there were still real sailing yachts, of which Alinghi was the best.
Since the coast is devoid of interest, sailing in Valencia is either because you want a trip on the sea, or as a starting point to head for the Balearics - it is much closer than Barcelona for instance.
Rivalry between Madrid and Barcelona also means that Madrilenos head here rather than the Costa Brava and local charterers cater to that market and for day sailing.

This is a very different experience to chartering bareboat and then hiring a skipper. The offer runs from simple 40 foot monohulls to super luxury fully crewed craft - mainly catamarans.
