They are 6 night/7 day itineraries that with thought can be combined into 14 day cruises. If you have that long, consider the Southern Itinerary and continue south down the quieter East Coast of the Peloponnese.
Approach the place with caution. There are numerous day trip boats that rush in and out with scant concern for everybody else. Room to manoeuvre is extremely limited as are the number of visitor berths.To starboard on entry there are rocks that further restrict space. On the outside berths there is a vicious swell; take care to be well off. The anchorage beyond the ferry port offers safety if the marina is full, butn in dreary surroundings.
The old Venetian city is however magnificent and well worth the trip. Seafront restaurants are to be avoided - there are plenty just away from the masses in the old town just north of the harbour exit.
