Sailing in the BALEARIC ISLANDS
The Balearic islands arguably off the best sailing in Spain. spread over the islands of Ibiza, Mallorca, and Menorca. Mallorca - the capital is home to the majority of the charter yachts, but there is a significant offering of catamarans in Ibiza. The west coast of Mallorca is short of safe harbours as is very evident from a brief glance at the interactive map below. Menorca is the most highly rated sailing destination in the region, but it is small.
Marina prices are among the highest in Europe - we have seen some truly astonishing figures for an overnight stop in August. However on Mallorca's east coast you will find safe places to anchor safely.
